Videofy is a tool for generating dynamic video by mixing local and remote sources - such as text, images, html, audio, and video - and applying video effects and animations. Users describe the "storyboard" of their video by writing XML templates with special tags. The Videofy engine can execute the templates, in real time or in batch mode, to generate the target video.
Videofy is able to handle many multimedia formats and codecs both in input and output, in particular 3GP (for mobile applications), Flash FLV, ASF (Windows Media Audio and Video), AVI, Quicktime, and many others.

Videofy is based on standard technologies such as Java, JSP, XML. A Videofy application can be easily integrated with existing server environments and well known architectural solutions (load balancing, caching, proxying) can be used to scale the system.
