Interactive mobile video services can be deployed according to several technical options:
- Services based on 3G circuit-switched video call
- Services based on mobile data technology (GPRS and UMTS IP streaming)
- Pull/push services relying on multimedia messaging (MMS)
Our platform supports all these different service flavors:
- It runs on top of an IVVR system for dynamic, on-the-fly generation of the video fragments in a VoiceXML dialog flow (also see 3G Video Services)
- It can be used at the back-end of streaming servers to assemble videos before they are streamed to users
- It can mix and transform heterogeneous contents for on-demand preparation of personalized multimedia messages ready for delivery
Videofy supports the 3GP format, the third generation video standard developed for mobile devices and supported by millions of phones around the world.
