This demonstration shows how it is possible to generate different flavours of the same video by using a collection of Videofy templates. The examples use videos taken from a Google Video RSS feed.
There are five Videofy templates used here, namely: "Preview", "Slideshow", "Adv Insertion", "Adv Overlay", "Adv Banner". Each template is able to output a 3GP version of the video (for download) and a Flash FLV version (which is played inside a standard Flash video player).
- Preview: it displays a screenshot from the original video and some information from the RSS feed data (no actual "video" here).
- Slideshow: it displays a simple slideshow with the video title in the first slide, additional video details in the second slide, and the actual video (within a rounded frame) in the last slide.
- Adv Insertion: similar to the "Slideshow", however a random advertisement is inserted just before the video starts playing. Plase note how the Flash version of this template behaves: the inserted ad is the same as the text advertisement that appears in the page on the right side of the video.
- Adv Overlay: it shows how the advertisement clip can be displayed as an overlay to the actual video.
- Adv Banner: it shows how a random banner marquee can be added to the video. Please note that on the Flash version you can actually click on the banner and jump to the target page.
